LOCAL VIEW
Use this page to rate, comment on, and find more localized information on the suburb of your choice. Here's how:
1. Suburb name: At the top of the page, the suburb is listed by name, state and postcode. If this isn't the right suburb for you, check out nearby suburbs below, or navigate to the appropriate one with the purple box at right.
2. Current rating: here, you see the suburb's current rating. Each suburb is rated by three different criteria:
Community: this rating criteria is based on all feel-good factors of the suburb, including safety, friendliness, culture, community events, social welfare, lifestyle, etc. How does this suburb rate for community? In this rating, one represents a suburb that lacks any sense of community, and 10 represents a suburb where community is very involved and present.
Local Services: this rating criteria is based on amenities and all logical elements of the suburb, including public transport, shopping, work, parks, churches, schools, etc. How does this suburb rate for community? In this rating, one represents a suburb that lacks local amenities and services, and 10 represents a suburb that is chalk-full of great, available local services.
Affordability: this rating criteria puts a price on the suburb: how affordable is it? How reasonable is the cost of living? In this rating, one represents the suburb being way out of your price range, and 10 represents the suburb being of great value.
